Early Marsh Orchid is widespread but seldom abundant (apart from in dune populations) in the U.K. It can be split into several highly distinctive subspecies of which ssp. incarnata is by far the commonest, although it is still far from abundant within it's range. It is highly distinctive thanks to its' pale pink flowers.
